World Press Freedom Day 2010
The UNESCO World Press Freedom Day 2010 conference was held in May 2010 at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. The radio-in-a-box was used to broadcast live the proceedings of the conference and the associated interviews of speakers and delegates. The broadcast was conducted by the School of Journalism, University of Brisbane. The broadcast was a great success, which also provided an opportunity for the delegates to understand the features of the radio-in-a-box and its usefulness for low cost community radio broadcasting (and campus radio) and for disaster recovery operations. This broadcast was funded by UNESCO.

Staff of the School of Journalism conducted the broadcast.

The students of the school were the roaming interviewers.
