Disaster Response Workshop
The International Telecommunication Union (ITU) sponsored training workshop was held in Sintok, Kedah, Malaysia in November 2008 onEffective use of Telecommunications/ICT in Response to Disasters. The radio-in-a-box was featured as an effective way to provide radio broadcasting services to disaster ravaged areas. Its simplicity and the ease of operation impressed the delegates.
